1. Set up the profile
Your profile is the first thing people check after they see a post. Use a professional (business) account so you get insights, contact buttons and ads.
- A name people search for: your brand, and what you do if it fits.
- A bio that says what you offer, where you are and how to reach you.
- Contact buttons for call, email or WhatsApp, and one link.
- Highlights for services, work, FAQs, location and contact.
2. Plan the feed
Pick three or four themes you will post about again and again: your products or services, real work, customers, and your team. Keep one visual style so the grid looks like one brand.
3. Use Reels to reach new people
Reels are the format most likely to be shown to people who do not follow you yet.
- Shoot vertically and put the strongest image in the first seconds.
- Show real products, places and work, not stock footage.
- Add on-screen text or captions: many people watch with the sound off.
- End with one clear next step.
4. Use Stories to stay close
Stories keep you in front of people who already follow you: behind the scenes, offers, questions and polls. Save the useful ones to Highlights so new visitors can find them.
5. Answer every message
On Instagram, interest turns into business in the direct messages. Reply quickly, in the language the customer wrote in, and move serious enquiries to a call or WhatsApp.
6. Back what works with ads
Boosting a post is the quick option; a full ad campaign gives more control over the goal, the audience and the budget. Start small, test two or three versions, keep the winner.
7. Measure
Instagram insights show reach, profile visits, link taps and messages. Track the ones that match your goal every month, and ask new customers where they found you.
